Romeo a Julie v angličtině
Je již tradicí, že rádi navštěvujeme divadelní představení, která jsou provedena v angličtině. Tuto podívanou nám každoročně nabízí DDM Ulita v Praze 3. Tentokrát jsme viděli Shakespearovo drama Romeo a Julie, které předvedli studenti křesťanského gymnázia.
Počáteční obavy studentů, zda budou interpretaci v angličtině rozumět, se nevyplnily; naopak všechny druhé ročníky, které měly možnost vidět divadelní hru, si to náležitě užívaly. Netradiční moderní pojetí i působivá hudba byly zajímavým ztvárněním klasického dramatu, což přispělo nejen k oživení Shakespearovské tradice, ale i k přiblížení klasického námětu.

Romeo and Juliet in English
We traditionally are keen on going to theatre performances in English annually offered to us by DDM Ulita in Prague 3.
This time we saw Shakespeare's drama Romeo and Juliet acted by students of Christian grammar school. The initial concerns of our students whether they will understand acting in English were groundless.
On the contrary, all the second grades, having the opportunity to see the play, enjoyed it thoroughly. Both the unusual modern interpretation and impressive music were an interesting theatrical representation of a classical drama, which contributed not only to revival of the Shakespearean tradition, but also to bringing the classical theme closer to our students.
